The home of our alpacas

The journey of our high-quality wool begins in the picturesque Colca Valley, where our alpacas live a stress-free life at an altitude of over 5200 meters. Here, in "El Altiplano", the animals are free to roam all day long, accompanied by a shepherdess and her faithful dog. The alpacas feed exclusively on what nature offers them and find a safe home in the small stone walls of their enclosure, which are only up to 50 cm high.

Traditional husbandry and shearing

Every two years, our alpacas' fur is carefully sheared, always ensuring that it remains at least 2cm long to protect the animals from the cold. This gentle treatment is a testament to the respect and care that we and the people of the Andes have for our alpacas.

After shearing, the precious wool is taken to the factories in Arequipa, where it is processed with the utmost care and in compliance with the highest quality standards. This process guarantees that the unique properties of alpaca wool - its softness and warmth - can be felt in each of our products.
