How much will the bedspread cost?
You should expect that 1 m² of hand-made alpaca wool will cost around €150. A blanket measuring 1.2 mx 1.9 m would cost around €342.
How long will it take to knit?
Even if the knitter works on the blanket every day, you should expect 1 month per 1 m². For the bedspread measuring 1.2 mx 1.9 m, our knitter will knit for 2-3 weeks.
When will I receive my delivery?
The hand-made items have a delivery time of 6-8 weeks. We try to ship the bedspread as soon as possible after completion. Customs formalities in Peru and Germany also have to be cleared up. This takes time. It has also happened that the knitted items were held in customs in Frankfurt for weeks before they were forwarded to Berlin. We have had good experiences with customs in both Lima and Berlin, but it is the little things that can always lead to difficulties.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
We kindly ask you to pay the cost of the wool as a deposit
to be taken over. For 1 m² the cost is approximately €50. For the bedspread 1.2 mx 1.9 m a deposit of €115 would be required.
If you want, you can see a few photos of the creation of your bedspread. Please don't have too high expectations in terms of quality and number of photos. Cell phones and the Internet are not a given for our knitters.
