Our BASIC products are also available for children. The sweater is suitable for both girls and boys.
It is knitted in a classic jersey style and can be wonderfully combined with a shirt, a blouse or simply with a T-shirt underneath - so the children are always well dressed.
These pleasantly practical knitted pieces are exactly what children ask for when their daily companions need to be washed.
We know that children's skin is sensitive. Rest assured that the knitted sweater made from a blend of alpaca and cotton is wonderfully soft, feels like silk and does not scratch.

“The following applies to our children's collection: Order the size that your child is currently wearing. Our children's clothes grow with them. They are neither ironed nor steamed, but sweaters or jackets get bigger as they are worn. If the item of clothing no longer fits at some point, wash it at 30 degrees on the wool cycle with liquid detergent and hang it up neatly. After drying, turn the item inside out and iron it with hot iron. This way your child can wear the item of clothing for another year.”

Our products grow with your child. We thought about how we could enable children to wear their clothes for longer and benefit from the warmth of alpaca wool, while keeping costs down.
As we all know, alpaca wool is not cheap. The industry and major brands produce clothing in large quantities and use the material in the best possible way. This means that a garment for a 2-year-old child is made to last for a maximum of 6 months.
Alpakita, on the other hand, does not steam children's clothes, so that the clothing can grow naturally through wear and washing.
We prefer garter-knit models that can grow with the child: from a dress to a tunic, from a long sweater to a sweater, from a coat to a jacket or from a jacket to a bolero.
Our knitted models are worn by children for at least 2 years.
